FRIENDING POLICY
This journal is mostly a locked one with some of the more recent posts being public. I write a lot about my day to day life with a decent amount of fanbabble posts here and there too. A comment to this post would be nice if you want to friend me. I might not add you back if I think you're too psychotic. There's nothing locked, here, that's interesting.

All comments are screened until responded to. They're also cleaned out periodically.

then this dog followed me home

So I recently caught up on Avatar: The Last Airbender. Mostly. At least a bunch of the most recent episodes. Anyways, it's been a really long time since I've watched any of it and surprisingly enough, my opinion of many of the characters has changed.

IN THE FORM OF BULLET POINTS:
-the character whom I used to hate but now found super interesting and entertaining: Azula.
-the character who used to annoy the hell out of me but now I find adorable: Aang.
-the character I used to laugh at, but now want to strangle on a episodic basis: Sokka.
-the character who I used to be pretty "meh" who now irritates me: Katara.
-the character who still rocks my fucking socks: Iroh.
-the characters who I found amusing and still like a lot: Toph, Ty Lee, and Mai.
-the character who I've found endearing since the beginning and still makes me smile with his suck-ass luck/life: Zuko

Yeah so maybe I'll keep up with this show, for now. :)

Ergh. I've been feeling pretty unenthusiastic about most things, lately. My family and I will be visiting Detroit, soon, to see the relatives and that'll be fun. Until then, I'm not sure how to occupy my time.

For the last couple of days I've been sitting down and rereading all of The Chronicles of Narnia, replaying Golden Sun: The Lost Age (&hearts Felix), baking a lot and biking around my neighborhood.

also I colored part of two doujinshi panels. rofl )

knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
I still have lots of the livejournal-y things (memes, posts etc.) to catch up on but I want to talk about something else, right now.

Summer's great for watching lots of new things, and I was aching to watch some new anime or show. I keep coming really close to watching Code Geass but change my mind, like, three minutes after I totally decide to watch it. This has happened at least thirty times. Then I remembered [info]solidor blogging once about something using The Count of Monte Cristo as a plot and spent a few minutes digging to find a title. HOMG THANK YOU FOR POSTING A PICTURE IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME SO MUCH LONGER TO FIND IT.

So today I marathoned all twenty-four episodes of Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo and sldkfjsld I loved it so so so much and why the hell don't I watch things that interest me sooner and homg I took a break after episode fifteen because the ending of the episode made me weep and even though the entire last episode was freaking wrap-up it was still good and I love it. And the soundtrack is great.

Yeah. That was my day. Also I made rice krispie treats. And ate them.
